Inspired by the spellbinding charm of Practical Magic with a refined winery twist, Witches in the Vines brings together mystical readings, hands-on experiences, local shopping, live music, food and wine beneath the autumn sky. Wander through the event at your own pace, visit the vendors that call to you and enjoy a little magic at the Vineyard.

Food, Wine & Potions
Every good coven needs a little sustenance. Sip, snack and stay awhile as our team conjures up an evening menu of seasonal bites, estate wines and specialty cocktails brewed just for the occasion.
Bewitching Cocktails
- Midnight Espresso Martini – Dark, rich and velvety as a moonless night, our twist on the classic espresso martini is the perfect pick-me-up for an evening of spellcasting.
- Potion Sangria Flights – A flight of four sangrias crafted with Newport Vineyards wines, each poured in its own jewel-toned hue like potions fresh from the cauldron. Sample all four and discover which one casts its spell on you.
Plus a few more specialty cocktails brewing behind the bar, each crafted with a touch of seasonal magic.
Sweet & Savory Bites
- Cannoli & Wine Pairing Bar – Indulge in cannoli’s thoughtfully paired with our estate wines for a bewitching sweet-meets-sip experience.
- Charcuterie Cart – A curated spread of cured meats, cheeses and seasonal accompaniments to nibble on between vendor visits.
Dress the Part
Fashionable witchy attire is encouraged – think flowy black dresses, boots, leather, rich burgundy tones and, of course, your favorite witch hat if you please.
The evening will take place throughout our downstairs event space and, weather permitting, outdoors near the vines and firepits. Please bring a sweater or jacket so you can comfortably enjoy the autumn evening.
Dinner at the Bistro
- Full Dinner Service – Make a night of it with a seated dinner upstairs at Farm & Barrel Bistro, featuring seasonal fare and our full wine list.
Admission is complimentary, and guests are welcome to come and go throughout the evening. We kindly ask that attendees support Newport Vineyards by purchasing food or beverages from our stations or joining us for dinner. Your support allows us to continue bringing special community events like this to the vineyard. Come for a reading, create something magical, raise a glass and celebrate the season with your favorite witches.
